What is the opportunity?

Within this Senior officer role, you will be responsible for assisting with the ongoing control program within the Quality Assurance (QA) team for Wealth Management International (WMI). Focusing on ensuring that the business has robust controls and oversight in place to ensure compliance with regulatory and global policy requirements and reduce Fiduciary, Reputational and Operational risk.

What will you do?

• Help with QA induction training for new employees across WMI and ongoing training around the functions of QA Team.

• Implement internal control checks to ensure continued quality service and robust control environment.

• Manage outstanding issues arising from various reviews, including risk and audit.

• Completion of MIS reporting purposes.

• Participate in various projects relating to quality, risk management and compliance initiatives.

• Carry out end-to-end process reviews to ensure both procedural and regulatory compliance, fully documenting findings for follow up.

• Assist the QA management team and the business before and during inspection, both externally and internally.

• Feedback to the management team to form recommendations for potential changes to team processes and procedures.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Proven experience working within an operational or risk environment within a financial institution.

• Ability to prioritise workload and work with minimum supervision.

• Ability to work within tight deadlines.

Nice-to-have

• Basic understanding of investments and trust structures.
