What is the opportunity?

This is an opportunity for someone with a proven track record for developing and implementing technology strategies as well as contribute to high-performing teams. You’ll be responsible for developing and leading strategic and transformation initiatives across procurement technology landscape and building sustainable and scalable Source-to-Pay technology across RBC. This role is for someone who is chronically dissatisfied with the status quo, thrives in an environment of radical candor and spirited teamwork, and depends on facts and data to tell compelling stories. You’ll be responsible to leverage facts and data to tell compelling stories that drives and compels change.

What will you do?

  • Source-to-Pay Technology Strategy: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to lead the development, planning, prioritizing and execution of various engagements to support integrated Source-to-Pay strategy.

  • Initiative Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of key strategic engagements to ensure adherence to expected outcomes.

  • Leadership & Relationship Management: Build effective and strong relationships with key Procurement team members and Business Units by understanding their needs and dynamics across stakeholder groups, decision makers and influencers.

  • Annual Planning: In partnership with leadership support the initiative planning process to ensure full alignment with business unit strategic and financial planning.

  • Innovation and New Technology: Identify opportunities for improvement and develop tool agnostic solutions in partnership with key stakeholders. Lead the development of business case to ensure positive Return on Investment.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, Business and/or similar discipline with similar focus

  • Strong Business and Technology acumen with proven ability to use data to make decisions and proven Strategy Development experience.

  • Expert level in Microsoft Office applications; particularly PowerPoint and Excel skills (pivots, complex logic statements, lookups, etc.)

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, superb written and oral communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail

  • Courage, tenacity, and an insatiable desire to challenge the status quo.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Procurement or Source-to-Pay Solutions

  • Product Management

  • MBA and/or similar discipline with Technology or Analytics focus
