What is the opportunity?

The Director, Strategic Platform Execution acts though multiple channels to align the Products & Strategy’s Digital & Marketing Technology team’s strategy across the team’s platform and solution offerings and ensures a holistic view that aligns to the overall strategy of regional business partners. Through defined strategic and executional acumen, this role successfully manages a portfolio of Digital & Marketing Technology initiatives and acts to provide clear, concise insights on projects and initiatives that inform portfolio prioritization, innovation and the strategic direction of capabilities that serves to enable data driven decision making.

What will you do?

Platform and Capability Strategy and Alignment:

  • Develop and maintain over-arching GDPS strategy inclusive of the direction of existing capability strategies from Digital Engineering, Marketing Technology, Digital Analytics and other Platform Operations

  • Advance the development of innovative capability and platform strategies though the creation and enhancement of project and capability infrastructure (roadmaps, deployment plans, resource planning and forecasting etc.,)

Portfolio Management:

  • Collaborate with broader P&S and Business partner planning teams to ensure constant alignment against platform and BU digital MarTech and Analytics needs

  • Ensure forecasted requirements (resource, technical, financial) are accurate and aligned against deliveries for annual and off-cycle planning purposes

  • Lead delivery team for P&S Digital Engineering and MarTech solutions that touch multiple platforms

Community Development and Participation

  • Support and participate in planning and leadership groups across Products & Strategy’s Digital & Marketing Technology, P&S, WM and Enterprise to ensure recognition of P&S capabilities, insight sharing and collaborative opportunity spotting

Managerial Excellence / Building a High Performing Team

  • Attract, develop, retain and leads a high performing diverse team of highly skilled technology professionals

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to direct reports in creating a working environment of high employee engagement with focus on proactively providing reliable, flexible and innovative technology solutions.

What do you need to succeed?

Must haves:

  • 7+ years of experience working in an Agile environment

  • Experience leading technical teams, including data engineers and application developers.

  • Experience building custom marketing technology blueprints and roadmaps.

  • Experience implementing and/or migrating large marketing technology platforms.

  • Experience building or contributing to multichannel, integrated digital marketing and CRM strategies.

  • Experience in large scale technology project delivery and development, integration of new technologies and solutions, including the creation and management of associated budgets

  • Proven successful experience in vendor selection and management for a wide range of technology solutions, including drafting SOW’s, RFP’s, and vendor evaluation, budgeting, and monitoring progress through to implementation.

  • Familiarity with Cloud Computing architectures, protocols, and practices
