How does the role impact the organization?
Raymond James (RJL) is Canada’s leading full-service independent investment dealer. Insurance and annuity products as well as Estate Planning services are provided through Raymond James Financial Planning (RJFP), a wholly owned subsidiary of RJL.
Raymond James Financial Planning is looking for an Administrative Assistant to work in our Edmonton office as part of our insurance team.
You will support the Insurance Planning Specialist and the Insurance Associates. You will handle administration, communication, scheduling, and client service tasks in a busy environment.
What will your role be responsible for?
- Manage schedules and coordinate meetings and appointments.
- Serve as the team lead for all CRM functions.
- Handle emails and correspondence for the lead advisor including inbox management.
- Coordinate conference calls and video meetings.
- Manage expense reports and reconcile credit card statements.
- Draft documents and presentations.
- Manage client electronic files and complete data entry.
- Support the Insurance Team with calendars, events, and meeting logistics.
- Provide status updates to the Insurance Team, financial advisors, and clients.
- Maintain relationships with financial advisors and clients and respond to information requests.
- Support LinkedIn, website updates, and social media activity.
- Complete other administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
What do we expect from you?
To qualify for this opportunity you possess:
- Minimum two years of administrative experience.
- Experience in financial services or administration.
- Strong communication skills in writing and speaking.
- High attention to detail and strong organization skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities.
- Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Copilot and Copilot Assistant is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent with three years of experience in financial services or customer service or
Post secondary education in business or administration.
Working Arrangement
Flexible schedule from twenty four hours per week to full time.

Salary Range: $45,000-65,000 annually, in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, internal equity, and other job requirements.
