How does the role impact the organization?
The Financial Advisor Assistant plays a key role in delivering exceptional client service while representing the Perreira Wealth Advisory brand with professionalism and care. Working closely with the Financial Advisor, this position contributes to business growth by providing administrative and client relationship support, coordinating operational activities, and assisting with portfolio management and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is client-focused, highly organized, possesses excellent interpersonal skills, and is capable of managing a high volume of responsibilities with accuracy and efficiency.
What will your role be responsible for?
Administrative Support & Investment Management
- Manage new account openings – including client confirmation, documentation, and coordination with internal operational teams.
- Maintain accurate and updated client account information by processing account updates and revisions as needed.
- Facilitate asset transfers and ensure timely completion.
- Prepare client correspondence, tax documentation, business reports, investment policy statements, portfolio evaluations, and proposals.
- Build, monitor, and rebalance customized investment portfolios in accordance with clients’ profiles and compliance requirements.
- Conduct investment research and analysis to support asset allocation decisions and product selection.
- Identify operational or portfolio-related issues and contribute to effective solutions while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
- Execute trades as required.
Client Service & Relationship Management
- Deliver a high standard of client service by anticipating client needs and responding to inquiries across phone, email, and in-person channels.
- Foster and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement and timely communication.
- Support business development efforts by assisting in prospecting activities and client-facing initiatives.
- Manage compliant digital marketing content across platforms such as LinkedIn and the team website.
- Coordinate the preparation and distribution of client communications, including newsletters, market updates, educational resources, and event invitations.
- Monitor engagement metrics and maintain client segmentation lists to support targeted marketing and personalized communications.
- Ensure all client communications and marketing activities adhere to regulatory requirements, disclosure standards, and recordkeeping obligations.

Qualifications
What do we expect from you?
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a willingness and ability to learn new applications;
- Verbal, written and interpersonal communication with both clients and colleagues;
- Proficient in quantitative analysis and adept in problem-solving;
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
- Excellent attention to details;
- Take initiative to get things done with minimal supervision/direction; and
- The ability to prioritize, multitask, work within time constraints and follow-up.
Education and Experience
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration;
- Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience in the investment and/or financial services industry;
- US (FINRA) license is an asset;
- Insurance (FSRA) license is an asset; and
- Experience with Dataphile and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM is an asset.
Licenses and Certifications
- CIRO licensed: successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course and the Conduct and Practices Handbook, is required; and
- Willingness to complete US (FINRA) licensing exams within 24 months.

Salary Range: $50,000-55,000 annually, in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, internal equity, and other job requirements.
