Raymond James Independent Financial Services is seeking an Administrative Assistant to work in our IFS – Ameli – Toronto Office (Berkeley St).

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of previous experience, ideally in a financial services firm, as well as excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. The candidate should also be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be able to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Advisory Team/Practice, while also playing a key role as a team member in business development, client relationship, social media, and client engagement.
Core Responsibilities:
• Process and address client account management and administration.
• Manage and resolve client requests and administrative accounting needs.
• Manage schedules, including coordinating meetings and appointments
• Work within the team to support client plans and portfolio management programs.
• Assist with client communication, marketing, and general client needs.
• Coordinate and liaison with Raymond James corporate contacts to support client needs and support.
• Coordinate and liaison with client professional contacts and experts.
• Act in a client relationship role, attending to client requests and coordinating client requirements with team.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed, conducting research, and managing projects.
• Assist in working with team to support social media accounts, create, and schedule posts, monitor engagement.
• Assist in working with team to support other marketing and brand building initiatives.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• 2+ years of previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience in financial services - account administration and client relationship management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, etc.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Able to learn and incorporate new software proficiently
• AI proficiency a benefit (i.e. Co-pilot Assistant).
Salary Range: $50,000-60,000 in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
