Private Client Group (PCG) Operations Associate - 18 Month Contract
How does the role impact the organization?
Raymond James Ltd. is seeking an organized and self-motivated PCG Operations Associate to join the Private Client Group Administration team for 18 months. Raymond James Ltd. is one of Canada’s leading full-service independent investment dealers, offering high-quality investment products and services to Canadians seeking customized wealth management solutions.
The PCG Operations Associate plays a critical role in providing operational and administrative support to the department efficiently and effectively. This individual will assist in implementing departmental directives and ensure exceptional service quality in all aspects of day-to-day operations. Previous experience as a Branch Administrator, Branch Associate, or Sales Assistant in the investment industry is considered an asset.
This position is fast-paced and dynamic, bridging client service and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for administrative tasks, meticulous attention to detail, a positive attitude, and exceptional interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must be responsible, client-focused, self-motivated, a team player, and demonstrate honesty, dependability, and professionalism.
What will your role be responsible for?
Key Responsibilities
- Foster and support agency relationships by liaising with PCG branches, responding to requests, and proactively solving problems.
- Maintain excellent service by managing incoming and outgoing points of contact, providing information, and resolving issues promptly.
- Handle day-to-day requests and inquiries.
- Respond to and follow up on inquiries from the branch network and colleagues in a timely manner.
- Perform administrative duties, including record maintenance, and other support tasks as needed.
- Coordinate business meetings, conferences, and presentations; prepare agendas and materials.
- Coordinate internal moves, including reviewing location requests.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all PCG Administration Associates complete mandatory training requirements.
- Interact with PCG Branch stakeholders to address general questions or concerns.
- Assist with organizing, managing, and executing advisor events, national conferences, and seminars.
- Support recruiting functions such as posting job descriptions, vetting non-producing registrants, and documenting hires in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Provide task coverage during planned and unplanned team absences.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of the wealth management industry.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Strong commitment to quality work and willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Handle confidential information with tact and discretion.
Additional Skills
- Advanced etiquette in face-to-face, email, videoconferencing, and telephone communications.
- Professional demeanor to establish and maintain effective relationships at all organizational levels.
- Proactive, self-starter attitude with a strong commitment to client service.
- French language proficiency is an asset.
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience in the Investment Brokerage or Financial Services Industry or applicable degree in Financial Services
OR
- Three (3) years in a high end service related field e.g. Hospitality, Food and Beverage.
Licenses/Certifications
- CSC/CPH licensed would be an asset but not required

Salary Range: $62,000-70,000 annually, in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, internal equity, and other job requirements.
