Support Specialist, Product & Platform Strategy - 12 Month Contract

How does the role impact the organization?

Raymond James Ltd. is seeking a Support Specialist, Product & Platform Strategy to work in our downtown Toronto or Vancouver office to join the Private Client Group (PCG) team in a hybrid workstyle capacity for a 12-month contract. Under the general direction of the VP, Platform Strategy, the Support Specialist, Product & Platform Strategy will provide essential administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of product strategy initiatives within the Canadian operations of Raymond James Ltd. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide administrative support to the VP, Platform Strategy and the Product Strategy team.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation related to product strategy initiatives.
  • Support communication efforts across cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of tasks.
  • Support change management initiatives.
  • Monitor timelines and assist in tracking progress of ongoing projects.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.

To qualify for this opportunity you possess:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role in the financial services industry.
  • Strong project management and change management skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency and knowledge with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Copilot, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional and friendly demeanor with superior customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and assist others as required.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information.

Educational Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field

Salary Range: BC (based on Education, Work Experience, etc) $65,000-78,000 in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
