Senior Advisor, Business Consultant
How does the role impact the organization?
Reporting to the VP, Practice Management & Head of the Women Canadian Advisors Network], the [Senior, Advisor Business Consultant & Co-chair of the Women Canadian Advisors Network] is responsible for [assessing the operational efficiencies of our financial advisory practices, developing strategic priorities, and coaching business owners to implement improvements. This position requires a blend of analytical skills, strategic planning, financial acumen, and leadership abilities to enhance business performance and client satisfaction. The role focuses on helping Advisors drive organic growth. In addition to the Senior Advisor Business Consultant role, you would be supporting the Women Canadian Advisors Network, in the role of Co-Chair, through specialized coaching, networking opportunities, mastermind discussions, and managing women advisor-focused sponsorship opportunities.]. The [Senior, Advisor Business Consultant & Co-chair of the Women Canadian Advisors Network maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's performance, strategy, culture and its pathways to success.
What will your role be responsible for?
- Analyze financial data, performance metrics, and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement within advisory practices.
- Working with Advisors to create and implement strategic plans that align with business goals, including setting clear, measurable objectives, and actionable steps.
- Provide leadership and coaching to business owners and their teams, guiding them through the implementation of strategic initiatives and performance improvements.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support decision-making and ensure the financial health of the practice.
- Leverage financial software and automation tools to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Address business challenges with innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
- Connect and assess external coaching programs or third-party content to be presented to our Advisors.
- Stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes, adapting strategies as needed to maintain competitiveness.
- Co-chair the Women Canadian Advisors Network, offering specialized coaching and support to members.
- Facilitate networking opportunities for members of the Women Canadian Advisors Network.
- Organize and support mastermind discussions to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among women financial advisors.
- Manage sponsorship opportunities focused on women advisors, ensuring alignment with network goals and objectives.

Qualifications
What do we expect from you?
- A post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CFP) preferred.
- 7-10 years of experience in financial advisory, business consulting, or a related field.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, business coaching, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Certified Corporate Coaching certification or equivalent, an asset.
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Excellent leadership and coaching abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desired Capabilities:
- Background in Business operations, team management, and efficiency planning.
- Ability to comprehend and interpret financial data through analysis and identify opportunities for financial growth.
Travel
- You are willing to travel within Canada up to 15% of the time and you are eligible to travel to the US.

Salary Range: BC (based on Education, Work Experience, etc) $100,000-125,000 in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
