Title: Estimator

Duration: 6 Months contract

Location: Ottawa (Hybrid)

Job Description:

• Generating cost estimates including labour, materials and third-party elements for scope ranging from maintenance to complex anechoic chambers and Quietshelters.
• Taking information provided within a scope checklist and reflecting that within an estimate for the client.
• Ensuring that information provided to and by vendors is accurately reflected in estimate.
• Ensuring that estimates have proper baseline financial information (such as margins, fx rates).
• With the help of Engineering & Design, ensuring that proposed solutions comply with customer requirements.
• Utilizing Sales CRM software (HubSpot) as directed for task prioritization, deal information (status, value, etc.) and reporting.
• Submittal of quotations to clients where directed.
