Title: Telephony Project Manager

Location: Hybrid - In Ottawa

Duration: 6 Months, P/T - 2.5 days a week - with possible extension

Bilingual: (French & English) – required

The Project Manager will lead Phase 2 of a telephony modernization initiative, overseeing Proof of Concept (PoC) implementation, solution refinement, and transition to delivery. This role is responsible for maintaining project scope, governance, and roadmap, while executing a phased rollout of VoIP/Microsoft Teams solutions across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver VoIP/telephony modernization and Microsoft Teams solutions
  • Translate business needs into technical communication systems
  • Manage multi-site deployments, vendors, and technical teams
  • Lead requirements gathering, solution design, costing, and documentation
  • Drive stakeholder alignment across technical and non-technical groups

Requirements

  • 7+ years in IT/telecom project management
  • Experience with VoIP, UC, and Teams environments
  • Strong background in deployments, change management, and procurement
  • Experience working with vendors and cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

  • Public sector or education experience
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Microsoft (Teams, Azure, M365) certifications
