Role: DevOps & Site Reliability Engineer

Type: Hybrid – onsite 3 days per week

Location: Ottawa / Kanata ON

This is a dual role, combining both Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and DevOps Engineer!

As an SRE, you will be instrumental in supporting the companies As-a-Service (aaS) products, leveraging your expertise to enhance service reliability, streamline operations, and drive automation across development and production workflows.

As a DevOps engineer you will apply these same principles and solutions to enable customers to deploy the clients cloud native products.

Required Experience

• Defining and monitoring quality objectives (SLIs and SLOs), supporting incident response, managing service security, and automating repetitive tasks to reduce operational toil.
• Configuration management using GitOps principles, capacity planning, and automated service monitoring.
• As a DevOps engineer you will apply these same principles and solutions to enable customers to deploy the clients cloud native products.
• Build and deploy CI/CD pipelines, infrastructures and tools for automation solutions to install, upgrade, configure, monitor, test and maintain customer applications and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl, Golang)
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and related tools
• Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
