Role: Azure Cloud / VMware Engineer

Type: Hybrid in Ottawa ON

Security: Secret level II

Duration: 6 months to start - June 16th.

5 to 7 years experience doing the following:

• Designing and implementing Azure cloud infrastructure for VMware migration
• Configuring and managing Azure services (VMs, networking, storage)
• Automating infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code
• Monitoring cloud resources and optimize performance and costs
• Ensuring security and compliance standards are met

Knowledge and Expertise

• Strong Azure cloud platform experience (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM templates, Terraform)
• Networking concepts and Azure virtual networking
• Monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)
• PowerShell and Azure CLI scripting
• VMware to Azure migration experience
• Understanding of cloud security principles
