Senior Manager, Engineering

Perm in Ottawa ON - Hybrid

Must be a Canadian Citizen living in Canada for 10+ years

MUST HAVE

• A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum
• 10 years prior relevant experience
• Leading a small team of engineers, managing individual contributing technical talent, actively supporting employee performance and development

Technical Background

• Wireless communications networking, with products such as high-data-rate HF/VHF/UHF modems and the Self Configuring Relay Network (SCRN) for ad-hoc wireless networks.
• Software System design and development in in both Windows and Linux; C/C++ and real-time embedded computer architectures.
• Object Oriented programming, networking and wireless communication protocols, communications concepts.
