Title: Data Engineer

Location: Remote (potential of travelling to Ottawa when required)

Duration: 6-months with possibility of extension.

***MUST have reliability clearance on hand ***

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum College Diploma/Certificate with a concentration in Business, Administration, or Information Technology
• Experience in data engineering, developing, and implementing data and analytical solutions, specifically requiring data migration from legacy systems. This experience would be in roles and projects with increasing complexity in application.

Must have:

• Experience in data engineering with a focus on data migration using PySpark and DataBricks
• Strong proficiency in SQL, PySpark, ADLS and DataBricks
• Knowledge of DB2 and SQL based operational databases
• Experience developing in cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure environment)
• Certifications (Data Bricks)
