Title: Security Solution Architect

Duration: 1-year contract

SECURITY - reliability (5 years in Canada)

Location: Remote (Ontario)

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Assistant Director, Cyber Architecture:

• Develop and update security policies, standards, requirements, and guidelines in alignment with industry best practices.
• Assist in conducting cyber risk assessments on new and existing technical solutions to identify security risks and control gaps.
• Develop and provide guidance on repeatable security solutions (i.e., patterns)

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

• University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
• Demonstrated experience in Cyber Security
• Demonstrated experience working in the field of Cyber Security Architecture.
• Experience with risk management and security control methodologies and frameworks (e.g., NIST 80053, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated knowledge of architecting and implementing technical solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Architecture and Operations (Azure).
• Demonstrated knowledge of application security (SDLC).
