Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

Participate in definition, specification and design of software features for Software Defined Radios;

Work in a team and individually to develop software according to design and customer requirements;

Perform hands on integration and testing of Radio Frequency (RF) communication products.

Participate in the on-going support of applications and products, both in-house and with clients.

Qualifications/Experience Needed:

Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)

Must be a Canadian Citizen

Must either hold or be capable of obtaining a Government of Canada Security Clearance up to the Secret level and access to controlled goods. Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements.

Experience in C++, object-oriented concepts and real-time embedded computer architectures

Experience with wireless radio/telco product, voice over IP (VoIP) or modem related products.

Experience with 3G, 5G, UMTS/ CDMA/TDMA, LTE, WIMAX, SIP, H.323, UHF, VHF, RTP

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledgeable in the software life cycle including definition, requirement analysis and design, implementation, validation and support;

Experience with DSP
