The Technical Writer Intern Role

Embark on an exciting journey with Qlik's Documentation team as a technical writing intern! As part of this role, you'll receive comprehensive training on our software and tools.

What makes this role interesting?

• Manual Updates: Take charge of updating manuals in English, ensuring accuracy and clarity at all times.
• Feature Documentation: Write documentation for new simple features in English, providing users with clear instructions and explanations.

Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:

• Enhancing User Experience: Improve user experience by maintaining up-to-date content and providing comprehensive documentation for new features, enabling users to maximize the benefits of our software.
• Supporting Product Development: Contribute to the development of our products by providing essential documentation that aids users in understanding and utilizing new features effectively.

We’re looking for a teammate with:

• Good written English
• Strong interest in IT and new technologies
• Familiarity with writing and terminology management processes
• Rising 3rd or 4th year student

The location for this role is:

Ottawa, for a period of up to 15 weeks
