Pinchin is currently seeking a Project Manager to join the Hazardous Materials/Indoor Environment Quality department at our Tilbury office.

A Day in the life of a Project Manager at Pinchin:
- Manage Hazardous Materials and / or Indoor Environmental Quality projects throughout the Region
- Client relationship maintenance
- Marketing of new clients
- Oversee consulting projects, including assessments, contract preparation, and abatement work. Projects may be multi-disciplinary and involve more than one Service Line
- Supervise Project Technologists in their job functions when technologist assigned directly by Tema Leader and Operations Managers
- Perform hazardous materials and air quality assessments, and preparing assessment reports, management plans, etc.
- Microbial contamination consulting
- Sampling and analysis.
- Development of remediation plans.
- Project management.
- Mould management & prevention plans.
- Infection control related to construction & maintenance in health care facilities
- Legionella consulting and management plans
- Prepare contract documents for hazardous material abatement projects
- Financial responsibility for assigned projects
- Train and mentor junior and intermediate staff, including reviews of written work
- Maintain and enhance quality control within the group
- Assist in the development, and implementation of the yearly Business Plan
- Perform any other job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time
What you bring to the Pinchin team:
- A degree, diploma, or certificate in Construction Technology, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, or a Bachelor of Science or Applied Science
- 3-5 years experience as a Project Manager in hazardous materials or indoor environmental quality consulting
- Ability to read, comprehend and proof all written reports and correspondence
- Good spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage assigned staff during project specific work
- Ability to write, edit, read and understand specifications, drawings, reports and RFP/RFQ documents
- Professional verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license, insurance and car are required
- Availability to travel
