As a Global Account Manager (GAM), you will be responsible for developing and executing the worldwide growth strategy for a portfolio of strategic industrial customers across factory automation, building automation, power & energy and robotics. This role coordinates cross-functional and cross-regional resources to drive design wins, revenue growth, executive engagement, and long-term strategic partnerships. The GAM serves as the single point of accountability for global account strategy, aligning customer technology roadmaps with NXP's product portfolio and business objectives while maximizing design-in opportunities across all product lines and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive global account strategies for assigned strategic customers.
Build executive-level relationships across engineering, sourcing, operations, and business leadership.
Drive design wins, pipeline development, revenue growth, and market-share expansion.
Coordinate global account activities across AMEC, EMEA, Greater China, and other regions.
Lead executive business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and roadmap discussions.
Identify and influence customer technology roadmaps to secure long-term design positions.
Collaborate with business lines, product marketing, applications engineering, and operations teams.
Develop account-specific growth plans, TAM analysis, and competitive positioning strategies.
Manage pricing, contract negotiations, and commercial escalations.
Ensure timely resolution of technical, supply chain, quality, and commercial issues.
Maintain accurate opportunity management, forecasting, and pipeline reporting.
Provide market intelligence, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field.
10+ years of semiconductor, industrial automation, electronics, or technology sales experience.
Demonstrated success managing large strategic or global accounts.
Strong executive communication and negotiation skills.
Experience leading global cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Strong understanding of semiconductor solutions including MCUs, MPUs, connectivity, analog, power management, and software ecosystems.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or advanced technical degree.
Experience with industrial OEMs, building automation, power & energy, factory automation, or robotics customers.
Experience managing multi-million-dollar revenue accounts and global design-win pipelines
