Job Description
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Test Introduction (NTI) activities including test setup, bring‑up, debug, and qualification.
- Set up, configure, and operate Automated Test Equipment (ATE), handlers, probers, load boards, sockets, and related test hardware for new and existing products.
- Execute engineering lots, characterization runs, engineering pilot run, reliability runs under both engineering and production environment to ensure test process stability and manufacturability at the machines.
- Provide flexible support including shift rotation (day/night‑shift), overtime, weekend, or on‑call coverage when required.
- Perform troubleshooting of test failures, yield excursions, contact issues, test program and ATE equipment or hardware-related problems.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as diagnostic or calibration checks, alignment, and minor repairs on test hardware and peripherals.
- Assist Test Engineers with debug activities by collecting logs, failure data, screenshots, and detailed observations.
- Assist with product transition from NPI/NTI to VRU and train production technicians on new test setups and procedures.
- Support creation, validation, and maintenance of work instructions
- Document test issues, root cause findings, corrective actions, and verification results following engineering change control processes.
Qualification
- Technician degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or equivalent.
- Work independently and efficiently on assigned tasks.
- Able and willing to work on shift rotation program (Day-Night), weekend and overtime.
- Basic English communication skill required.
- Open mindset to raise an issue and provide first line solution.
- Good communication skills to work with different teams.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
- Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor test flows (wafer sort, final test, system-level test)
- Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), test handlers and/or probers, Load boards, sockets, probe cards.
- Experience or knowledge with V93K_PS1600, UF3000, Delta Matrix II, Talos. will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge in test hardware or software debugging is a plus.
