Job Description

  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Test Introduction (NTI) activities including test setup, bring‑up, debug, and qualification.
  • Set up, configure, and operate Automated Test Equipment (ATE), handlers, probers, load boards, sockets, and related test hardware for new and existing products.
  • Execute engineering lots, characterization runs, engineering pilot run, reliability runs under both engineering and production environment to ensure test process stability and manufacturability at the machines.
  • Provide flexible support including shift rotation (day/night‑shift), overtime, weekend, or on‑call coverage when required.
  • Perform troubleshooting of test failures, yield excursions, contact issues, test program and ATE equipment or hardware-related problems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as diagnostic or calibration checks, alignment, and minor repairs on test hardware and peripherals.
  • Assist Test Engineers with debug activities by collecting logs, failure data, screenshots, and detailed observations.
  • Assist with product transition from NPI/NTI to VRU and train production technicians on new test setups and procedures.
  • Support creation, validation, and maintenance of work instructions
  • Document test issues, root cause findings, corrective actions, and verification results following engineering change control processes.

Qualification

  • Technician degree / Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or equivalent.
  • Work independently and efficiently on assigned tasks.
  • Able and willing to work on shift rotation program (Day-Night), weekend and overtime.
  • Basic English communication skill required.
  • Open mindset to raise an issue and provide first line solution.
  • Good communication skills to work with different teams.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
  • Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor test flows (wafer sort, final test, system-level test)
  • Experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), test handlers and/or probers, Load boards, sockets, probe cards.
  • Experience or knowledge with V93K_PS1600, UF3000, Delta Matrix II, Talos. will be considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge in test hardware or software debugging is a plus.
