RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Troubleshoot and repair all hardware and process failures for the following tool sets: SVG Furnace (SPT/SPTS/AVIZA) AVP-8000, TEL Furnace Alpha-8SE/Sei, Comet R2D Automation MTU and Lumonics WaferMark SigmaClean.
  • Able to improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive tool breakdowns
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities following standardized work documents
  • Use SPC charts and iProcess software to evaluate tool performance
  • Document maintenance activities and assist in improving standardized work documents for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
  • Maintain spare parts inventory and various other activities related to the success of the area
  • Self-motivated; able to take initiative with minimal supervision
  • Ability to interact with multiple disciplines in a 7x24 manufacturing facility
  • Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills
  • Aptitude and desire to learn new skills
  • Ability to thrive in a multi-cultural environment

Job Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance experience
  • Education Requirement (must meet one of the following)
    • Completion of a two-year degree (Associates degree)
    • Technical Certification from an accredited institution
    • 2 of 4 years completed towards a Bachelors degree
    • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts non-technical degree and 2+ years area technical experience
    • 5+ years of area technical experience
    • Military Technical School and 3+ years of area technical experience
  • Strong mechanical and electronic skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to interpret electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings
  • Ability to work with He leak detectors, RF calibration gear, oscilloscopes and multimeters
  • Ability to understand vacuum systems, gas control systems, and high pressure systems
  • Understanding of electrical and electronics theory
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability, project management skills, and knowledge of SPC in a manufacturing environment
  • Candidates must be able to stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift
  • Additional requirements include Basic computer skills, MS Office, strong interpersonal and communications skills, ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, strong work ethic with verifiable references.
