The Equipment Engineer will play a key role in supporting equipment/hardware maintenance. Key player in new equipment/hardware startup and ramp-up activities by ensuring timely equipment buyoff and release. This position is responsible for:
- Planning, managing, and resolving equipment-related issues to prepare the manufacturing line for volume production.
- Troubleshooting and resolving visual mechanical issues, related to hardware and handler
- Operating and maintaining Cohu PNP test handlers and laser marking equipment.
- Implementing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Developing equipment maintenance specifications, including FMEA and OCAP documentation.
- Monitoring and analyzing equipment performance indicators to meet operational targets.
- Driving improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Identifying key cost drivers and executing cost reduction initiatives.
- Defining, developing, and maintaining equipment capabilities, strategies, and long-term roadmaps.
- Owning and managing equipment KPIs such as MUBJ, MTBA, MTBF, and quality metrics.
Qualification:
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with Teradyne UP1600 or Advantest PS1600 testers is a strong advantage.
