Job Description:
Perform semiconductor engineering design, development, and testing for firm products and devices in conjunction with product development for the electronic communications industry. Design, develop, and maintain the on-going standards development of the RISC-V community. Work in a technical leadership role in NXP compiler development team, working with processor core architecture design teams as well as internal NXP compiler tools consumers. Design features, and define the deliverables related to NXP compiler tools for ARM, RISCV, and proprietary-based CPU, DSP, and accelerator cores. Analyze the quality of compiler generated code using simulators, profilers, and analysis tools and make recommendations to improve compiler code generation quality. Collaborate with software quality testing and safety teams to ensure that NXP compiler tools meet stringent safety standards as defined by ISO26262 and maintain highest levels of software quality.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, foreign equivalent or related field.
Five (5) years of experience in job offered, Compiler Engineer, or related occupation.
Required skills:
Position requires 5 years of experience in the following:
- C/C++ programming and Bash shell scripting,
- DPC++ (SYCL), Edison Design (EDG), and Open source LLVM and Clang Compilers,
- Static Analyzer tools (Klocwork and Coverity),
- FPGA, SYCL, and OpenCL attributes,
- PyTorch and TensorFlow,
- Compiler optimization and code generation,
- Unicode Characters, homoglyphs, and Control-Flow Enforcement Technology (CET), and
- Troubleshooting and Bot testing frameworks.
