Job Summary:

The Product Engineering (NPI/NTI) Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality and manufacturability of new products through comprehensive characterization, qualification, and production testing. This role involves designing and implementing cost-effective testing and troubleshooting methods for integrated circuits using Automated Test Equipment (ATE). The engineer will prepare qualification and production test specifications and procedures, and plan resources for testing and characterization of both standard and custom devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement test strategies for new product introduction (NPI) and new technology introduction (NTI).

• Conduct product characterization, qualification, and production testing to ensure mass production readiness.

• Develop and optimize test programs and data analysis techniques.

• Define and review processing techniques used in manufacturing and characterization.

• Lead projects related to product transfer, yield improvement, and time-to-release (TTR) during NPI development.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including EFI (Engineering for Innovation), fabrication process teams, and external organizations (e.g., GNTC, GHWE) for product and hardware qualification.

• Manage project timelines, labor planning, and equipment scheduling from PCA (Pre-Characterization Analysis) through to mass production release.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in semiconductor product engineering, particularly in NPI/NTI.

• Plus if RF/ mmWave background or fab experience.

• Proficient in data analysis and statistical techniques.

• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Familiarity with qualification standards and manufacturing processes.
