US Regional Training and Development Manager

US Training and Development Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing training and development programs across multiple semiconductor manufacturing sites in Chandler, Arizona and Austin, Texas. This role is crucial for attracting, developing, and retaining NXP's top talent, ensuring our workforce possesses the expertise and knowledge required to foster innovation and support continuous employee development.
Job Responsibilities
- Training Program Development: Design and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to regional needs, focusing on both technical and soft skills development.
- Talent Development: Cultivate future talent by offering specialized training programs, creating a steady pipeline of qualified candidates for key positions.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that motivates employees to actively participate in their development.
- Compliance and Standardization: Ensure all training programs comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, maintaining consistency across regions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of training professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on training activities, outcomes, and ROI for senior management.
- Grant Writing and Partnership Collaboration: Develop and submit grant proposals to secure funding for training initiatives. Establish and maintain strong relationships with university and community partners to enhance training programs and leverage external resources.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and senior management to align training initiatives with business objectives.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in training and development or manufacturing.
- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically capable of standing for long periods (up to 12 hours) and lifting and carrying objects up to 20 pounds.
- Shift Requirements: The position may require working compressed shifts, including days or nights.
