The Test Engineering (NPI/NTI) Engineer enables to covering the quality of the NPI via Characterization, Qualification & Production testing order to guarantee a mass producible product.

To enable it, the individual designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting integrated circuits use (Automatic) Test Equipment.

Prepares qualification, production test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products.

Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and characterization and qualification of standard and special devices.

Work with Designer, DfT and PE for test program development and hardware verification/ qualification as integration role.

Involvement starts from PCA up to release of the product for mass-production
