Your Team
The Advanced Power Systems Product (APS) line within the Business Line AAES (Advanced Analog Embedded Systems) is bringing to market new, innovative products that combine analog and mixed signal capability with embedded control for automotive body, radar, chassis and safety, powertrain and driver information systems. As member of the European Product Engineering Team of APS, location Nijmegen, you will contribute to the validation of Common Mode Transient Immunity requirements conform international standards for capacitive communication through reinforced Galvanic Isolation being used in automotive products in the On Board Charger of electrical Vehicles. This CMTI measurement is performed on a brand-new lab setup at different very high dV/dt’s in the kV range. We are currently looking for a student for a graduate-internship to develop a universal automated CMTI-test solution. Also automation of the reporting of the obtained results is part of the assignment.
Your Responsibilities
Working as member of the European product engineering team location Nijmegen, in the heart of the Dutch Semiconductor industry.
Acting in a multidisciplinary New Product Introduction (NPI) development team

Developing hard- and software for automated CMTI testing on products with Galvanic Isolation.
Develop test-methods for the GICL IP-block for universal use
Prototyping to proof proposed test method
Create schematics and develop hardware
Develop software (Labview/Python) to automate execution
Looking for opportunities for an automatic reporting tool to present obtained results to the stakeholders (IC-designers and architects)

Your Profile
Bachelor/Master of Electronic Engineering - final year of engineer school.
Affinity with Python/Labview language development
Curious and affinity with systematic problem solving
Good level of English is required (attendance to meetings / presentations with international team, reading and writing of documentation)
Duration
This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week) with a duration of 6 months or longer. The assignment could also be suitable as a thesis/graduation project. Please note that in order to be considered for an internship/working student assignment, you need to be registered as a student during the entire period.
