Job Summary:

The manufacturing Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing and improving manufacturing Processes to increase efficiency, reduce cost and ensure product quality. The role supports production teams and ensure all manufacturing activities comply with industry standards and company policies.

Role & Responsibility

• Delivery indices to meet OTD, WIP/DOI management, prioritization of urgent lots
• Skill to automate and develop Manuf indices to track delivery performance using Power BI or similar tools
• Monitor and report on production metrics, capacity and process performance
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and suggest improvement
• Drive productivity improvement activities, together with engineering/IE team.
• People engagement for 5S, QCC, people growth, supervisory competency development, teamwork with maintenance and process engr teams
• Quality: responsible to build quality mindset of manufacturing team.
• Holding supervisors and operators responsible to follow quality habits, work instructions (zero deviations)
• Zero silo mentality and teamwork with upstream, quality team, engineering team, planners, etc
• Strategic thinking and competency to build automation ready manufacturing team
• Participate in equipment evaluations and maintenance planning.
• Aspiration to develop. Ship Quality Products on Time team

Requirement:

• Educational background : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IE, Manufacturing, Computer Science, or related field;
• Excellent knowledge of manufacturing principles involved in strategic planning, process flow analysis, resource allocation/modelling, leadership technique and effective production.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing experience especially in continuous improvement, eliminate waste, 5S and Visual management.
• Able to think strategically and 'out-of-box' to develop vision and roadmap for function and drive change in function, ability to articulate and present clearly and concisely to management on strategy and plans
• Speedy & results-orientated, able to work & delivery results in fast phase manufacturing environment.
• Open-minded, willing to accept new challenges and overcome it with positive attitude.
• Motivated team leader with high level of ownership, and great collaboration with stakeholders in order to achieve ONE Goal.
• Attitude of close & detail follow thru to ensure successful operation.
• Strong problem solving, communication and organizational skills.
