Responsibilities

• The role consists of a varied workload the following are the most significant elements:
• Responsible for delivering field technical support on NXP automotive products/solutions in assigned China Tier1s/OEMs, with in-depth design assistance leveraging NXP technical resources (Product Line Specialist /Market Development Engineer/ Applications Support)
• Proactively demonstrate NXP products/solutions will meet customer’s specification and conditions, propose customized solutions together with relative marketing/sales and technical expertise in team.
• Delivers trainings and supports to customer R&D team on-site or remotely, interact with customer (OEM and Tier1s) Architects/Engineers to understand requirements, provide feedback on customers’ application and technology requirements.
• Establish good contact with Customer’s technical team, tracking design-in projects progress with regular updates, will have to debug issues faced by the customer in Lab and field, will be required to suggest patches/work-arounds for blocking customer issues.
• Deliver trainings to field team and distribution, and drive and manage joint activities with IDH or FAEs in Disti.

Requirements:

• Master degree preferred in relevant disciplines, such as electrical engineering, microelectronics, embedded system, etc.
• 3~5yrs working experience in SW or HW application/development, in automotive industry is preferred.
• Experience in Semiconductor Application and with customer experience is preferred, in Automotive industry is a plus!
• Experience in Multi-Nation company R&D with understanding of development process, in leading automotive company is preferred.
• Strong knowledge and understanding in terms of sensing, controlling/processing and algorithm in automotive EE system.
• Good skills in C/C++, Matlab, etc
• Solid skills on vehicle level at least in one of listed: EMC, Functional Safety, AutoSAR,etc.
• Debugger and analysis skills, with understanding of automotive process and methodology.
• Good English skill in speaking and writing, documentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication skills internally and externally, customer experience is a must.
• Energetic with passion, career wish in automotive industry, strong self-study capability
• Teamwork sprits with Multi-Culture understanding
