Principal Analog Design Engineer
NXP Semiconductors
Job Description
NXP’s high performance mixed signal technologies for Automotive applications create new ways to make cars cleaner, safer, more comfortable, and more fun. NXP’s Advanced Automotive Analog (AA) Business Unit’s mission is to provide a broad portfolio of differentiated analog, mixed-signal, wireless, and energy management solutions that enable our customers to realize compelling green, safe, connected, and secure products for the automotive market.
In the AA business Unit, the Battery Management Systems (BMS) Segment drives the business of NXP’s leading mixed-signal battery management products for automotive and industrial markets. Together with a worldwide design team, we develop application specific standard products which integrate high performance analog functions as well as digital logic ranging up to 32 bit microcontrollers and DSPs in high voltage CMOS processes.
We are now looking for Senior SoC Digital Leader for our Battery Management Systems Segment.
Your responsibilities
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the execution of the project for the SOC digital part.
As part of the design architecture team, you will contribute to the definition of the product thanks to your strong expertise in digital design.
Then, you will oversee the design plus the integration of all the IPs and the custom blocks interfacing with the analog to build the SOC. A large part of the circuit is dedicated for Functional Safety supervising the global Power Management State Machines.
Your role will be central to interact with the other people of the project: analog design, verification and layout team for Analog / Mixed-Signal on top integration.
You will be responsible for the entire digital flow of the SOC integration from design to backend activity till tape out and beyond.
You will be in charge of the qualification of the IP Blocks before integration, building the logic top, managing the clocks, resets and the DFT integration. Then you will be responsible for the synthesis, equivalence checking, CDC checks and supervise the backend team.
