Context

NXP’s Smart Front-end & Interfaces product line is developing millimeter wave technology products in continuation of its leading portfolio in high speed wired interfaces with millimeter wave wireless technologies and providing ground-breaking and innovative solutions to the consumer, computing, and industrial markets. Co-operations with university and research institute can help to identify innovative solutions and overcome significant technical challenges to make these products a reality. The topic will be the design of IP blocks related to VCO, divider and frequency generation.

Your Profile

We are looking for a final year MSc student in electronic engineer to work with our experienced design team to work on state of the art analog and RF IC solution.MSc in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field with an emphasis on analog IC design

  • Affinity with the state of art analog design/verification flow and tools, preferably with Cadence tools
  • Creative and positive mindset
  • Good knowledge on CMOS technologies
  • Good knowledge on analog and RF design
  • Great communication skills, interpersonal skills, teamwork skills and can-do attitude
  • Desire for a career in IC design/Semiconductor industry
  • A good level of English is required, working in an international multi-site team.

Duration

This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week) with a duration of 6 months or longer. The assignment could also be suitable as a thesis/graduation project.

Please note that in order to be considered for an internship/working student assignment, you need to be registered as a student during the entire period.
