Business Line Description:

NXP is a market leader in automotive processing thanks to our broad portfolio of microcontrollers and processors. Our Automotive Processing business provides customers with differentiating hardware and software solutions to accelerate automotive design in the areas of body comfort, vehicle networking, propulsion & domain control, sensor fusion and high-performance compute. Our teams are building differentiated roadmaps and products to enable Tier 1s and car OEMs with the highest levels of safety & security for more electrified, more connected and more automated vehicles.

For the newly-created OEM Commercial Marketing team, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to develop further our commercial and supply relationship with the automotive OEMs, while also deepening our understanding of Automotive OEMs expectations and positioning to drive further upwards the value we bring to our customers.


Reporting to the OEM Commercial Marketing Lead in the Automotive Processing Business Line, this role is responsible for leading all business-related OEM Commercial Marketing activities with the assigned Automotive OEMs.

Job Summary

  • Be the trusted point of contact of the Global Sales & Marketing organization teams in charge of OEMs for all commercial, tender, RFQ, RFI and supply topics;
  • Engage effectively with OEM to build strong commercial relationship and work jointly with OEM solution Marketing to position NXP solution from the automotive processing (AP) business line.;
  • Build up a strong and detailed understanding (mapping) of the different OEMs in term of vehicle segmentation, Electronic/Electric platforms evolution, volumes per sub-segments, MCU/MPU competition, verticalization, etc…;
  • Collaborate with OEM solution Marketing, commercial Marketing, Sales, BL AP Product Lines, sister Business Lines and legal, supply chain and technical experts in core teams to drive the NXP answer to OEM RFQ, Tender and supply agreements.

Profil

  • MS in Electrical Engineering additional degree in business administration is an advantage.
  • 5+ years in the field of high technologies (preferred semiconductor and/or automotive domains) and customer-facing roles (Marketing/Business Development).
  • Proven track record of commercial successes in product or service positioning, RFQ and contract negotiation.
  • Fact-based and strongly data- & detail-driven, but with the ability to look at the big picture.
  • Self-driven, open-minded and good negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Very good command of Microsoft office, particularly with EXCEL as a real plus.
  • Business Fluent in both spoken and written German and English, further foreign languages (French or Italian) would be a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel when necessary

Job Qualifications:

  • MS in Electrical Engineering.
  • Additional degree in business administration is an advantage.
