Role Summary:
Strong technical skills and knowledge of semiconductor processing and process equipment (Wafer Back Grinding / Wafer Mounting / Blade Dicing / Stealth Laser Dicing / AOI / etc.)
Applies engineering principles and techniques to perform equipment engineering in a manufacturing environment to meet organizational objectives.
An Equipment Owner, evaluates, selects, and justifies equipment that is most appropriate and cost-effective for the manufacture of company products.
Job Responsibility:
Maintain Equipment capability for production and meet production demand.
Engage with Production line and Process Engineers to balance tool availability for production, troubleshooting and scheduled maintenance.
Engage in Equipment troubleshooting and production quality improvement.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and oversee service calls on production instruments as needed.
Manages/drives performance and continuous improvement projects (CIP) to meet/exceed equipment KPI, MTBA, MTBF and goals.
Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
Liaises with vendors to resolve equipment issues and Establishes projects and solutions for increasing uptime, throughput, cost saving and resolves equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
Sets up equipment FDC and improves and meets the equipment FDC OOC rate for equipment SECS/GEM capable.
Provides technical support to the Line Maintenance repair, Preventive Maintenance and process engineering.
Defines and writes preventative maintenance procedures and schedules.
Conducts training to shift members (PM operator, Technician & Engineers).
Coaches Line Maintenance / Preventive Maintenance in performing hardware troubleshooting, generates troubleshooting lesson learned material and equipment OCAP for sharing with the team.
Job Qualification:
Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in engineering in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Electronic Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Automation Engineering
At least 3-5 years with relevant working experience in semiconductor industry foundry
Strong technical skills and knowledge of semiconductor processing and equipment.
Strong technical writing skills for equipment procedures, OCAP, 8D, FMEA.
Experienced in repair and maintenance of a variety of equipment operations and related issues.
Able to think critically with strong analytical skills.
Possess good communication skills and time management skills.
Strong leadership skills
