Your Team

You are part of an experienced team of development project managers, with broad background in project management and CMOS design. Your own project team will be composed by RF analog design engineers mainly and you will have close interactions with project, management and other international R&D teams.

What are your main responsibilities?

As RF Analog Project Lead you drive the design development part of large New Product Introduction (NPI) projects/programs. This includes:

  • Planning and driving the design activities from project start until release

  • Communication and reporting to internal stakeholders and partners

  • Lessons-Learned evaluations

  • Regular alignments with international sites

Furthermore, you are responsible for:

  • Budget: costs and resources

  • Collecting and managing risks

  • Setting-up a transparent reporting towards the project stakeholders

  • Setting prove points to deliver within scope and timely initiate recovery when needed

  • Supporting or leading project gates, owning the design development part of your project team

  • Following the CMMI and NXP BCaM internal related process

Last but not least, on a horizontal level, you are:

  • Involved in shaping the organization structures

  • Reinforcing the project management domain in industrial, championing dedicated tools or methods

  • Possibly owning long term cost downs or innovation workstreams

What you bring

To be successful in this role you are:

  • Enthusiastic, team player, happy to work in international and virtual teams

  • Influential on project level but also across the organization to drive time to market but also long term design development targets

  • Strong problem-solver with Automotive quality mindset

Furthermore you have:

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent

  • Min. 10 years of experience with at least 5 years of experience in managing complex technical projects with leadership to technical experts and adequate people management skills

  • Background in Analog IP/IC Design mandatory, preferably also in RFCMOS design

  • PM expertise with comprehensive and authoritative knowledge to manage stakeholder and customer relationships, PMI certification or equivalent preferred

  • Experience in managing large multi-site / multi-cultural project teams

  • Proven track-record of industrialized projects

  • Good understanding of the semiconductors industry, affinity with ADAS applications is of advantage

  • Basic knowledge of all areas part of IC development: IC design, IC manufacturing, DfT, Production test, Qualification, Validation and Application

  • Know-how in high-temperature developments (preferably > 150°C on silicon) would be an advantage
