Department / Project
AMS-CC is a competence center, part of central organization under CTO. AMS-CC strives to build a strong centralized team, with expertise in RF, analog mixed signal IP and sub-system development, bringing maximum value add to NXP business, being recognized as the to-go-to “Centre of Excellence” in design by offering high-level of expertise, flexibility and quality to various Business Lines/ Product Lines within NXP Semiconductors.

Job Description

The Quality Assurance officer

  • works together with own peers and Quality manager to define and manage AMS-CC Quality Management System.
  • ensures projects are following defined procedures and reports non-compliances in the project execution to the management
  • Owns and drives QMS board
  • Update the AMS-CC QMS with the approved changes in QMS Board
  • Represent AMS-CC in NXP-wide CMMi and BCaM meetings
  • Perform audits and (self-) assessments for BCaM and CMMI, reports results to Quality Manager.
  • Identify process non-compliances and ensure that they are escalated
  • Supports creation and maintenance of generic configuration item list (incl. BMD & BMC)
  • Participates in subcontractor- & supplier audits
  • Owner of Audit findings – to update Audit tool with necessary information to close the audit findings
  • Keep AMS-CC QMS aligned to changes in BCAM
  • Shares best practices with the engineering community
  • Drive Process improvement at AMS-CC

Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor/Master degree in physics, software, electrical engineering or electronics OR 5 years + of experience as a quality engineer/officer within a technical development environment

- Preferred skills:

  • Practical experience in a similar role within semiconductor industry
  • Experience in integrated circuit (IC)/software development
  • Experience in project management of development projects
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949
  • CMMI expertise and/or A-SPICE
  • Reviewing and auditing experience
  • Certified Auditor (internal / external)
  • Consultancy soft skills
  • Detail oriented, risk aware working style
  • Ability to identify and drive improvements
  • Good English skills

Contract: This is a full-time position with a permanent contract. However, we are open to discuss a part-time opportunity (between 32 and 38 hours) as well.
