Global Solutions Business Development- Automotive OEMs (f/m/d)
About the Role:
The Global Solutions Business Development for Automotive OEMs will be a key part of the Global Solutions Business Development team at NXP Semiconductors. This team, composed of highly skilled technical resources adept in customer interaction, is primarily responsible for identifying global industry pain points and transforming them into solution requests. The Business Development will play a crucial role in this process, working closely with global regional resources and top industry leaders.
Problem Identification: Analyze major Software industry pain points of the automotive OEMs market through continuous market analysis, participation in fairs, conferences, and trade shows. Collaborate with top industry leaders and regional resources to create a detailed problem statement based on an in-depth technical understanding of these problems. Collaborate with the NXP Regional OEM Solutions Marketing responsible to develop and implement strategies that align with global automotive trends and business objectives. Solution Definition/Request: Transform the problem statement into a solution request accompanied by a detailed business plan. Work closely with solution development teams across Business Lines and the R&D teams to create effective answers to the identified problems, enhancing the solutions tailored to automotive OEMs. Technical acumen: Apply strong technical expertise to understand complex software challenges in automotive sector, including, and not limited to, Software-Defined Vehicles (SDV), Wi-Fi 6 integration, V2X communication, Electrification, Cybersecurity, Edge Processing, OTA updates, Domain/Zonal Architectures. Solution Deployment: Take full responsibility for creating all associated collaterals to be deployed by the regional resources to all customer tiers in the appropriate format. Support and participate in System Symposium events at customer locations, presenting NXP solutions and engaging directly with clients to understand their needs and gather feedback . Coordinate with FAEs and partners to ensure global deployment of developed solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in an OEM Technical Marketing role or similar within the Automotive industry, with a strong emphasis on technical aspects.
- Deep understanding of automotive software challenges and related technologies.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to travel for market research, conferences, and customer meetings.
