WCPO, Cincinnati's trusted news leader, is seeking a dynamic Producer, Creative Services to join our team! In this exciting role, you'll be a creative force behind our on-air promotions, digital content, and station branding initiatives that connect with our community across multiple platforms.
As our Producer, Creative Services, you'll play a vital role in showcasing the stories that matter most to Greater Cincinnati, crafting promotional content that engages audiences and drives viewership. This is your opportunity to blend creativity with strategy while working alongside talented reporters, producers, and management to elevate our station's brand presence.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Conceptualize, write, shoot, and edit on-air promotional and brand image spots for news, programming, web and special projects using multiple platforms
Works closely with Manager, Creative Services and news personnel on story details and promotional strategies to showcase content
Work closely with creative team to brainstorm and execute marketing and community projects
Organize promotion projects
Analyze rundowns to coordinate the best on-air, social and digital marketing materials
Provide analysis for digital audience engagement and review
Work closely with affiliates to support programming on air and online
Perform other duties as needed by management
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
High School diploma (or GED) required. Bachelors degree preferred
1 - 3 years experience of writing or editing in local broadcast preferred
At least 2 years professional broadcasting marketing/promotions/creative services experiences required.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Curiosity and enthusiasm for integrating A.I. tools into creative work
Understanding of audience measurements across platforms
Working knowledge of current creative suite for product development
Superb attention to detail, time management skills, and strong communication skills
Knowledge of post production television editing suites, with emphasis on Adobe Creative Suite
Experience working with camera, audio and light equipment
Working knowledge of MAC systems
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits.
