As a High-Speed Optical Test and Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our Subsystems Organization, focusing on the design and development of cutting-edge optical interface modules for DWDM (dense wavelength-division multiplexing) transmission systems. Collaborating with a dynamic team of electrical, optical, and software engineers, you will tackle complex challenges in developing miniaturized optical transmitter modules used in telecommunication systems. Your work will include coherent module test and test automation in Labview, TestStand, CVI, implementation, bring-up and maintenance of optical testbenches, re-working of linecards and optical modules: soldering, assembling, fiber splicing. The work environment is innovative and collaborative, encouraging you to engage with both internal and external teams to bring new product designs to life. As a High-Speed Optical Test and Automation Engineer at Nokia, your core mission will be to innovate and enhance optical interface modules for DWDM (dense wavelength-division multiplexing) transmission systems, directly contributing to the development of high-speed coherent optical transmission solutions.   • 10+ years of experience in testing of cohernet optical subsystems
  • Confident and comfortable in Labview, TestStand, CVI
  • Hands-on attitude in supporting design verification test and prototyping.
  • Lab experience with high-frequency test setups and measurement equipment.


  • Test and test automation of coherent modules and line cards in Labview, TestStand, CVI
  • Implementation, bring-up and maintenance of optical testbenches
  • Re-work of linecards and optical modules: soldering, assembling, fiber splicing
  • Maintenance of Lab PCs, IP
