Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN). As an Senior System Simulation Engineer L1 at Nokia, you will play a crucial role in developing advanced algorithms that enhance signal processing and radio access technologies for our cutting-edge 4G, 5G, and future 6G networks. You have:
- Expertise in LTE/5G physical layer (3GPP 36/38)
- Strong background in signal processing & communication theory
- 5+ years in algorithm design & simulation
- Proficiency in Matlab & wireless system modeling
- Problem-solving, networking, and fluent English
- Master’s+ in telecom, engineering, or related fields
It would be nice if you also have:
- Knowledge of Radio Resource Management (RRM) design and implementation principles
- Understanding of 3GPP standardization processes and forums
- Expertise in DSP/FPGA development
