We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee to join our Innovation & Automation Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for a curious and proactive individual to gain hands-on experience and develop a foundational understanding across key areas of innovation and automation within a fast-paced and evolving environment. The Trainee will have exposure to a diverse range of functions, including Automation, Generative AI (GenAI), Customer Architecture, Security, and Innovation framework. The Innovation & Automation Unit is at the forefront of transforming our services and operations. We are a dynamic and collaborative team responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing cutting-edge solutions across various domains, including automation, artificial intelligence, customer experience, and security. We foster a culture of continuous learning and experimentation, empowering our team to explore new technologies and drive impactful change.
  • Currently a candidate for a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.
  • Strong academic record with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of programming concepts (e.g., Python, JavaScript); automation tools or scripting experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, particularly AI and automation.
  • Proactive, self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Demonstrated interest in technology, innovation, and problem-solving.

As a part of our team, you will:

  • Analyze existing processes to identify automation opportunities and document automated workflows.
  • Research emerging GenAI technologies and assess their potential applications within CNS Services & Care.
  • Assist in developing proof-of-concepts and pilot projects leveraging GenAI solutions.
  • Support the integration of GenAI technologies into existing systems and business processes.
  • Learn and apply customer‑centric design principles, including mapping customer journeys and identifying pain points.
  • Contribute to the conceptualization of new service delivery models and architectural improvements.
  • Gain exposure to cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance best practices, and support related assessments.
  • Participate in ideation, market research, technology/vendor evaluations, and provide project coordination support.
