The Specification Engineer is responsible for defining, developing, and maintaining system‑ and feature‑level specifications for AI‑RAN solutions.
The position operates within RAN Architecture & Specification (A&S) and works closely with RAN system architects, L1/L2/L3 engineering teams, AI/ML experts, platform teams, and product management to ensure high‑quality, feasible, and implementable specifications.

Your Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Requirements Engineer, Software Developer, or Tester
(L1 or L2 layer experience is considered a strong advantage) - Knowledge of IBM Rational DOORS is considered an advantage
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong sense of ownership for assigned responsibilities
- Motivation to drive end‑to‑end feature development across organizational boundaries
- Ability to apply sound judgment and work according to defined guidelines and objectives
- Demonstrates initiative and adaptability in a changing business environment
- Comfortable working with a moderate level of supervision and coaching

- Participate in acceptance criteria definition and verification for software development teams
- Provide support to test teams, including clarification of requirements and expected behavior
- Create entity‑level test scenarios to ensure proper validation of specified functionality
