Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development support of our ISAM family products—high-capacity, multiservice access nodes delivering a wide range of carrier-grade services, including:

  • Ultra-broadband internet services (residential and business) over copper (ADSL / VDSL2) and fiber (GPON / FTTx) technologies
  • Voice services, including VoIP (SIP, H.248) and legacy PSTN/ISDN interconnection
  • Video, IPTV, and multimedia services over managed broadband networks (e.g., multicast support)
  • Business Ethernet and mobile backhaul connectivity, with high-capacity Ethernet and MPLS support

Nokia Network Infrastructure S&D Care CNC team is looking for a senior SW engineer in Greece to support ISAM family access products. Is a customer-centric service organization delivering comprehensive end-to-end support, including bug resolution, new feature implementation, L2/L3 technical support services, and 24/7 emergency ROTA coverage. In parallel, the team continuously develops and strengthens its service portfolio by introducing innovative solutions that enable efficient network operations, enhance security, and support proactive maintenance for our customers.

Must-Have

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Software Technology or equivalent education
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
  • Experience with C/C++ programming
  • Experience with Git and version control systems
  • Comfortable working with Linux-based operating systems
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Perl

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Mercurial version control
  • Knowledge of Wind River VxWorks RTOS
  • Understanding of VoIP services, including SIP and H.248 protocols
  • Exposure to test automation pipelines


  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and debug complex software issues
  • Design, develop, and implement new customer requirements
  • Work closely with product managers, architects, and testing teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Translate business and customer requirements into clear technical specifications
  • Run proof-of-concept (PoC) activities and provide accurate effort estimations
  • Contribute to code reviews and maintain high-quality technical documentation
  • Prepare and respond to security-related statements of compliance
