Fault Management Specialist Internet Protocol is responsible for diagnosing and resolving IP (Internet Protocol) network faults to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role involves troubleshooting IP network faults and promptly responding to network incidents and outages with the agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement) and OLA (Operational Level Agreement) and Network Support. Candidates should have expertise in an IP and MPL (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) background.

An exciting opportunity to work in the ever-changing Telecommunication Industry. As a member of Operation Delivery. You will be a part of a team who's open-minded are to deliver in an environment where openness, trust and on one's own are encouraged. Each team member selects the tasks to work on and exchanges daily with his/her teammates on the progress and challenges.

You have:

  • Fault Management L2 support for IP/Security domain (NOC support)
  • Proven experience in IP fault management, network troubleshooting, and incident response.
  • Require 10-15years work experience in an ISP (Internet Service Provider) / MSO (Managed Service Operator) environment covering the following with a bachelor’s or equivalent degree.
  • Perform network node administration and security audits on Cisco/Juniper switches/routers and Juniper/Checkpoint firewalls, inclusive of routine preventive and corrective maintenance of the network nodes.
  • Working knowledge of IOS XR, Cisco ASR 9010, Nexus switches, Juniper MX products.

It would be nice if you also had:

  • IP Certifications for Juniper and/or Cisco are required.
  • Provide 24/7 tier2 technical and operational support to the IP core networks and handle any customer fault escalation.

  • Monitor network performance and identify faults using network management tools and systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot IP network issues to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Respond promptly to network incidents and outages, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve network issues efficiently.
  • Perform routine maintenance and updates to network equipment and systems.
  • Optimize network performance by implementing necessary changes and improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of network faults, incidents, and resolutions.
  • Generate regular reports on network performance and fault management activities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to address network issues and improve overall network health.
