The Solution Services Architect (Core Assessment & Optimization) is responsible for leading and executing end-to-end technical assessments and optimization projects for customer core networks (e.g., Subscriber Data Management, 5GC). This role ensures that network solutions are designed, assessed, and optimized to meet customer business objectives, performance targets, and industry best practices. The architect acts as the technical authority, bridging customer requirements with Nokia’s solution portfolio and methodologies
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering and proven at least 5 years experience in network assessment, optimization, and solution architecture in telecom environments.
- Deep expertise in core network technologies (IMS, MSS, EPC, 5GC, VoLTE, etc.) and related protocols.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with network management, monitoring, and audit tools .
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities, including English proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams in complex project environments.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Scoping & Planning
- Engage with customers to understand business drivers, technical requirements, and project objectives for core network assessment and optimization.
- Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with project managers and customer stakeholders.
- Develop detailed assessment and optimization plans, including methodology, tools, and success criteria.
2. Technical Assessment & Data Collection
- Lead the collection and analysis of network inventory, configuration, performance KPIs, and operational data from customer environments.
- Utilize Nokia and industry-standard for automated data gathering and validation.
- Review network documentation, architecture diagrams, and previous assessment reports.
3. Network Analysis & Optimization
- Analyze core network architecture, configurations, and performance to identify bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Perform capacity, resiliency, and security assessments, benchmarking against best practices and customer-specific requirements.
- Develop and recommend optimization strategies covering configuration tuning, resource allocation, feature enablement, and architectural changes.
4. Solution Design & Recommendations
- Translate assessment findings into actionable solution designs and optimization roadmaps.
- Prepare and present detailed technical reports, including risk registers, gap analyses, and prioritized recommendations.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and customer teams to validate proposed solutions and ensure feasibility.
5. Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Act as the primary technical interface between Nokia and customer technical teams for assessment and optimization projects.
- Facilitate workshops, technical reviews, and knowledge transfer sessions with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment of technical solutions with customer business goals and operational constraints.
6. Implementation Support & Follow-up
- Support the implementation of recommended optimizations, including configuration changes, software upgrades, and process improvements.
- Provide post-implementation validation, performance monitoring, and fine-tuning as required.
- Document lessons learned and contribute to the continuous improvement of assessment and optimization methodologies.
7. Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure all deliverables meet Nokia quality standards and comply with relevant industry regulations and security requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of core network technologies, standards (e.g., 3GPP, ETSI), and Nokia solution capabilities.
