We are looking for a Lab Support Member to assist with lab setup, maintenance, and day-to-day operational support.
You Have :
- B.E / B.Tech in Electronics / CSE or an equivalent technical discipline
- 5–6 years of hands-on experience in the Networking and Telecom domain
- Technical & Operational Responsibilities
- Strong working knowledge of networking fundamentals including IP addressing, VLANs, and basic routing and switching concepts
- Installation, configuration, power-up, and maintenance of Network and Telecom equipment
- Hands-on experience with operating system installation, configuration, and security patch updates
- Proficient in ticket handling, incident management, and clear understanding of SLA concepts
- Continuous operations monitoring, including network health, temperature, power, and surveillance systems
- Lab network planning, setup, and coordination with IT teams for new network requests or modifications, including intranet and third-party connectivity
- Support lab infrastructure expansion and changes while ensuring compliance with internal processes and security guidelines
Manage and support day-to-day lab and network operations to ensure high availability and reliability
Install, configure, power up, and maintain network and telecom equipment as per lab and project requirements
Plan, implement, and support lab network setups, including IP addressing, VLAN configuration, and basic routing and switching
Coordinate with IT teams for intranet access, third-party connectivity, and network modifications
Perform operating system installations, configuration, and regular security patch updates
Monitor lab operations including network performance, temperature, power, and surveillance systems, and take proactive actions to prevent issues
Handle incident and service tickets, ensure timely resolution, and adhere to defined SLA commitments
Provide first-level troubleshooting and coordinate with relevant teams for advanced issue resolution
Support vendor management activities, including coordination, follow-ups, and issue tracking
Assist with order management, procurement coordination, and delivery tracking for lab equipment and infrastructure
Maintain accurate documentation, asset inventory, and lab operational records
Ensure compliance with lab safety, security, and operational processes
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and demonstrate ownership and a proactive attitude in all responsibilities
