Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s progressive related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

  • Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience with the following:

  • Access technologies including GPON (Gigabyte Passive Optical Network) and XGS-PON (10 Gigabit Symmetrical);

  • Network element management systems;

  • Layer 2 and Layer3 protocols;

  • Develop configuration templates for software, hardware configuration templates, IP addressing, VLAN, Capacity, and QoS plans; and,

  • Network engineering, network design, and network integration.

Domestic travel required up to 15%.

Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Dallas, TX may be permitted up to 40%.
