Nokia is seeking an intern to join the Optical Hardware Design team. You’ll support the development of cutting-edge optical systems like ICE7. Work closely with engineers across Optical, Hardware, FPGA, and Firmware. Help verify and integrate optical designs during product development. Gain exposure to all functions in a cross-disciplinary environment. Contribute to testing and ensure products meet performance specs.
- Experience debugging hardware and firmware
- Experience with electrical and optical test equipment
- Experience with implementing automated test scripts
It would be nice if you also had:
- Programming skills in Matlab, Python, VB, and other scripting languages
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent team-working skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Implement and execute ODVT & OIT
- Assist in test automation initiatives
- Document design test results using established tools
- Report on test status to team leaders and management
