Contribute to feature testing of Wifi, Mesh and Layer 2/3 Forwarding protocols to validate end-to-end service behaviour by working closely with Product Architects and SW teams.

This opening is for Wifi Testers having experience in Wifi Features, regression and automation testing.

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Telecom or equivalent
• 7 to 15 years of experience in network SW Testing primarily on Wifi.
• Experience in 802.11 specifications.
• Wifi 6,7 knowledge with RRM.
• Good understanding of WiFi control and data paths on Qualcomm or similar WiFi SoCs
• Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi security protocols, including WPA2, WPA3, and 802.1X/EAP
• Good understanding on the embedded Linux and OPENWRT, PurpleOS system

It would be nice if you also had:

• Proficient in Script programming languages
• Proficient in Python, Robot, PyTest.
• Testing experience in Network layer 2/3 data forwarding.
• Testing experience in GPON, ONT, home gateway products or wifi Extenders.
• Fluency in technical writing and communication skills

Are you passionate about becoming a part of efficient BBD SW group, you will be responsible for:

• Customer specification and requirement analysis together with product manager and product architecture and SW engineers.
• Design test cases according to product and technical specification.
• Be on top of Network protocols, Wifi, layer 2/3 data forwarding and GPON.
• Responsible for test case design, automation and execution.
• Work with test frameworks (Robot, Python, PyTest) to improve test coverage.
• Analysing and reproducing customer issues.
• Doing Root Cause Analysis and defining and implementing preventive actions.
